Josh Lacy
CAPTAIN
Josh graduated from Timber Creek High School in 2010 and continued his education at Mid Florida Tech school where he graduated with a master certificate in auto body, collision and estimating. He started his career working at Cape Canaveral Space center for nearly a decade as a launch pad technician for space X and then later became a missile Crane Operator for Lockheed Martin Fleet Ballistic Missile Program.
While working at the space center, he started his captain career working part time in the commercial towing and salvage work industry for Tow Boat US for 5 years. It was then when he was introduced to the yachting industry. He worked Friday-Sunday as a freelance charter captain in south Florida. This is where he discovered his passion for the career.. He was offered a full time position by a well known charter company, Anchor Rides, Josh was the southeastern head captain. He managed a large variety of different vessels, vessel orientations and charter crew placement, While continuing to run charters in his spare time he decided to pursue his dream of becoming a full time captain.
Josh ran multiple deliveries up and down the east coast. During that time he interviewed with multiple privately owned yachts for a full time captain position. He was finally introduced to motor yacht No Curfew. He now works full time as a captain on No Curfew managing private use, charter programs and a crew of three.
